The most spiritual journey in Egypt: depart Cairo afternoon, arrive Saint Catherine by evening. After dinner and rest, begin the night ascent of Mount Sinai (Jebel Musa) at 1:00 AM with your Bedouin guide — 3,750 steps cut into granite, arriving at the 2,285m summit in time for a breathtaking sunrise above the clouds. Descend for breakfast, then spend the morning exploring the UNESCO-listed St Catherine's Monastery — the oldest continuously operating monastery in the world — including the Chapel of the Burning Bush. Return to Cairo in the afternoon.
